We actually drive the hospitality transport for Silverstone Circuit, on the inside of the track. The truth is we are travelling a little bit slower than both Hamilton and Button, and also go the other way around the track.

During our 2009-10 Rotary year under President John Norton, the club raised and donated a grand total of £18,000 to local, national and international charities and good causes.

Another well combined effort between the three service clubs of Rotary, Lions and Centurians gave the residents of Towcester and the surrounding villages the opportunity, for the eighth year in succession, to promenade the streets of the old market town to savour an eclectic sample of differing musical tastes.

Whether it was the professionalism of "Cameo Opera" in the church, the naughty but nice Rambling Boys at the Conservative Club, or the budding talent of the Towcester Rock School, everyone could find something to their taste. Soloist or group, all did very well, and locals were encouraged to stroll and enjoy.

News
The May Day Fayre which took place this year on the Recreation Ground, Towcester on the 3rd May, is organised and presented by The Rotary Club of Towcester for two main reasons:

Firstly, it is a family-oriented event which is offered by the Rotary Club as a thank you for supporting all our various causes and fund-raising activities throughout the year.

Secondly, it provides an opportunity for local people to raise funds for their “own” good cause or charity.

The Fayre was opened by the Mayor of Towcester seen here with President John Norton.
