Fundraising for Sumatran Orphanage

Jim Davis and Towcester Rotarian Alex Cooke left Towcester on Thursday May 21st from the Saracen’s Head hotel to ride over 3,000 miles around the coast of Britain. They should return this weekend.

The objective of the ride is to raise funds for the Orphanage in Sumatra, Indonesia, which Jim Davis set up and still runs following the devastating Tsunami in 2008.

Update – Funds raised by June 23rd – £7,173.17 – thank you.

You can see a presentation video about their trip on YouTube.

If you would like to contribute to their fundraising, then you can donate here.

All the fundraising money is collected by BEATS (British Earthquake and Tsunami Support) and is sent by them directly to the Orphanage.
