The Rotary Club of Towcester – Privacy and Security Policy
Please find below details of how we protect your security and privacy.
The Rotary Club of Towcester is committed to protecting any information we collect from you and which we may use to enhance your experience of using www.towcester-rotary.org.uk or when placing an order with us for an event ticket.
We also outline the security measures we take to protect your details once you have given them to us. You can then make informed choices about the personal information you provide when you purchase from us. If at any time you wish us to delete your details from our systems, then please simply contact us and we will be happy to oblige.
How we collect and store your data
When you buy goods and services from us we record and store your details that you share with us to ensure that we can for example:
- be certain that any orders you have placed can be processed to completion
- contact you in emergencies, such as an urgent cancellation
- deal with any financial queries
This data will not be used to send news and event information unless you have requested to be added to our mailing lists.
If you are on our Friends of Rotary email listing – your details are stored on the www.mailchimp.com server. If at any time you wish us to delete your details from our systems, you can unsubscribe from any email sent or simply contact us and we will be happy to oblige.
We do not store any financial data. This is held by Paypal for all online purchases. For orders over the phone or via email – we will keep a note of your details and take cash on the day of the event or beforehand if possible..
If you order from our web site – your order details (not financial) are stored on the web site server for up to 3 months after the event. After 3 months the record of your order is deleted from the web site server.
The only companies that we share your data with are the venues where we hold the events – and this is normally just your name, with the exception of Silverstone Tracks if you are part of our F1 event.
We do not, and will not in the future, share your personal information with any other third parties.
